On the first page of the forums theres a list of most recent topics. Is this a hack or mod?

2nd question

How can I post the same type of information about doing a search etc that is displayed at the top of the first forums page.

And is the search function here standard or a mod as well?

last but not least how does one modify the TOS for a site so it displays from a file or record. If I change the TOS I do that in the php file?

I'll be coding a bit again today or at least the good ol search replace etc.

The last one is I want to show new users Terms of Service. The only line I show right now is just a single bit of info. Do I edit that adding new content lines to the file until I'm done with my TOS or can I call an external file?

I'm a total newb when it comes to this stuff and even got a new problem when I added a block but I'll post that in another forum.

Anyway so what I'm after is a module where I can change the copyright, legal info, tos etc easy.

The easiest way and probably the most noticeable to all your members would be to make a TOS post in your first category on your forum, make it an announcement so it never moves then you can place <a href="url_to_your_tos">TOS</a> links anywhere on your site you want.
