When deleting a user all the posts made by that person in the forum dissapears ?
Not only new topics posted by that person, but also posts where that users only has replied.
The problem is the posts aren't gone totally!
In the forumscroller users can still see those posts and the forumpost counter
also says they are there, but when clicking on the post it says "there's no post"??
The only way to delete a user properly is to first delete all the posts made by that
person before deleting the actual user.
Should it be like this?,Is there something wrong with my nuke?
I'm using v7.4

I wondered this as well. I figure the best way to avoid problems if you need to delete a user is to remove any other content they may be linked to as well (news submissions, forum posts...). But, if you don't want to bother with that and you want to do some user pruning, delete the users who have not participated in the forum or other content to avoid problems later on.

I deleted the user in "edit users" from the control panel in nuke and also tried to
do it from the forum admin,it doesn't matter which one i choose, the results are
the same?
What do you mean i should do it from the database ?,the user dissapears from the database when doing it from "edit users",it's the posts that are troublesome.
From what i understand every post got an id from the poster in the database,
if the poster(or id) gets deleted nuke cant pull those messages/posts from the database,
even if their still there !

I am having the same problem with this issue now also using 7.4. I deleted a user and then the scrolling forum block still showed the message, the forums got messed up and would not display the last message properly.. etc.. Any way to correct this?

I had a scrolling forum block that had a problem with this issue, and it displayed a message from noone that wasn't available. Apparently if you go and find the message that the person posted that does not exist anymore in your database, and change the posters user id to match your own for example, then go and delete that message out of the forums you can solve this problem. This is not a solution only a crude way to solve the problem..

What should really happen is when you delete someone in nuke that user id should be searched for as a message poster and all those messages deleted or some how disposed of, perhaps moved.

I would love to see someone script that little fix.. hint..hint..
