Hi,

I was wondering how to protect a folder, e.g. make it say forbidden, i know how to do that, but when I do that if you try to access one of the files, e.g. a .zip to download it, it'l say forbidden on that too, i use WS FTP Pro and i've unchecked the box which says apply to files inside folder, so my heads kinda spinnin, Hope someone can help me icon_smile.gif

Are you just trying to make the index forbidden or what? I mean you making the folder forbidden would hide whatever is in it. I think you dont want it to list the contents?

Only way is to make your own forbidden page and save it as index.html.
