i am running phpNUKE 7.5 the forums that came with it are ver 2.0.10, The problem that i am haveing is that users cannot upload there avatar, i have it enabled in the forum admin menu, max size etc etc. The option to upload a avatar apears in the users profile but when you go to try and upload an avatar it doesnt show an error msg just loads the finished screen, I checked if the avatar had been uploaded to the server but it wasn't there.

You will need to CHMOD the avatar directory in your FTP to 777, this will give the proper upload permissions.

Sorry for the short explanation, you can do this 2 ways.

1) Go into your FTP program and navigate to: modules/Forums/images/ now right click on the avatars folder and click "properties" and check all boxes so the file permissions are set to 777. (assuming your FTP clients supports this feature)

OR

2) Go into your web host file manager and navigate to the same dirextory as stated above and click the avatars folder, there should be something that says" file permissions" or "CHMOD" or something to that affect. Then just check the appropriate boxes to make the permissions to 777.
