Hey all,
Wondering if you guys could help or know a way to have a modules link re-direct to another site (i.e. "Shop Online") and have it point to a diff site.

I have tried to tweak out a few modules that I am not using on my site but I am still somewhat nuke-n00b and couldnt get it to do what I wanted.

If I can use an existing module that is there and just rename it to what I want then that is fine. Or if there is a module I can DL that would be cool too.

Thanks for any help,
J

You mean in the nav looking block with home, downloads, forums, news etc and stuff in? My way of doing it, it's probly the wrong way to do it but it works, just create a folder named Whatever_you_want_it_to_be in /modules, with a blank index.php inside, and then go to the admin cp -> modules, and rename it to the url you want it to go to e.g. [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

As i said its probly the totally wrong way of doing it, but, it seems to work for me icon_smile.gif

Yes the Nav Block is what I meant with the modules in it, sorry.

I tried what you said by naming the module in Admin-Module the URL but with
<a HREF=" [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] "_blank">Shop Online</a> and it would NOT show up under the Nav menu but did show up in the Admin-Modules and the link did work.....

I also tried it but I am sure I have the text/code wrong in the index.php file. When I click the Shop Online module/link now showing in my nav menu it goes to a page and says "You are trying to access a restricted area. For susbribed users only". I just put <a HREF=" [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] "_blank"> in the index.php file. and also just tried it with the url and no html code.
What should I have there so it will go to the off site link I want?

Thanks for your help,
J
