I have this situation that when I try to add and "Admin" and I click "Add Author" after filling out all neccesary fields I gets a blank white-screen and the new admin is not added. Can I get some help please. I am not sure at which upgrade that this happen since I never added an admin for a longtime. It also seems that I cannot update the admin as well.

I did a search inthe forum for the problem and came up with the following but I am not familar with what is been mention

You need to check the readme for that install because it adds new fields to the nuke_authors table that you have to update the code for $nukeroot/admin/modules/authors.php. The instructions to do so are in the ReadMe of the Modules Install.]

What version of Nuke? Are you running that calendar mod or just referencing to it because of your search? More info needed please.

I a running 7.5 - the forum is phpBB 2.0.11 and about the calender I got that info from the seach on my issue.

Check your nuke_authors table in your database. You may have additional fields in it. Compare it with the fields in the default Nuke 7.5 nuke.sql and remove any field that is not a default one.
Make sure to backup the nuke_authors table before altering!

Thanks, I remove the following fields and it worked

`radminsection` tinyint(2) NOT NULL default '0',
`radminephem` tinyint(2) NOT NULL default '0',

any idea what would they be for? Because I am not sure when they get there

If this was an upgrade from an earlier version of nuke then those two fields were left remaining in the table from the previous nuke version. This seems to be a hit or miss thing with the upgrade process of nuke.

not sure if this helps but i have the same issue since installing newsflash ver .2
It adds a new field in admin and and works great but then when I got to add new admin I get the white screen also.
So in summary what is happening is you are adding a new field as God admin for a new moduile or addon in the author table which is not being added when creating a new admin. I hope this info helps come up with a resolution.

EDIT: White colour on white background does not work well. Staffie
