This tutorial goes over the most common questions and tasks that will be needed to
access your free site. For any other questions, that have not been included in this brief tutorial,

How do i login?

We will use Nancy for our login tutorial.
Nancy's domain is gintime and her password is iplaygin
oddly enuff her user name is Nancy.
To log into your server, first point your browser to the following
address (url) make sure your domain name is in place of your-domain-name:

[ Register or login to view links on this board.]

Login: nancy
Domain: gintime.codezhost.com
Password: iplaygin

You have succesfully logged in.

How do i use all these neat files?

YOU DONT! Ensim Web Appliance is setup so that you the admin
has total control over your entire site. Those files are subdirectory
files or files that run your site. There is only one directory you will
need to use and that is the var/www/html directory.

How do I upload my stuff?

Once you are logged into your main admin page you will see a menu on the left side
select Files from that menu and then your file manager will open.
This is where the var/www/html comes into play in the list you will see an image
then the name of the directory the directory is underlined. Click the bottom
directory var then it will open that directory. Now inside of that window you
will see another list again the bottom one is the one we need so
click www then we will go to that directory.
In there you will see the last one we need click the html link and
open the html directory.

If this is your first time in the html directory you will already
see a index.html file that is your main page if someone where to look
at your address on the internet. You will also see an images directory
you can safely delete what is inside and fill it with your own (3.0 megs space).

How do I make a link to my files and images?

This is where you would use the full URL of your file. In this example,

Login: nancy
Domain: gintime.codezhost.com
Password: iplaygin

so her URL to link to her files would be:

[ Register or login to view links on this board.]
or whatever name you had used to upload the file.
If you are using the image folder for all your images then the URL would be:
[ Register or login to view links on this board.]

How do I change my password

Open the Site Summary window.
In the Site Summary menu, click Change Administrator.
The Edit Site Administrator form opens.
In the Administrator Password field, enter your new password.
In the Confirm Administrator Password field, type the password again.
In the Email Contact field, enter the email address where you want to receive email notifications.

Click Save.
