i have a web site that is done in nuke 7.5 and we are wanting to go to 7.6 platinum is there a way to do this keeping the exisiting db with all our mrmbers and all out forums thank you very much

No not unless the maker has made an upgrade script. I suggest you stick with Nuke instead of a fork and try doing the coding yourself its a great way to learn about your site.

It is possible to do on your own..but you need plenty of experience in chasing database errors because you will have lots of them. The best way to try is to upload PNP to a new folder on your site or on a new server and then upload a backup copy of your 7.5 database to your PNP database, just start fixing things and hope for the best. This way you still have your 7.5 site intact, you'll learn a ton and if it fails, your'e at no loss. I was able to convert but not without lotsa aspirin icon_biggrin.gif
