Is it possible to open thumbnailed images in an automatically resized window which will detect the resolution (dimensions) of the image so you don't have to specify values.

What I would like to do is insert one piece of universal code for the whole entire page, so I do not have to specify a line of code for each and every image. When someone clicks on a thumbnail, I would like to have the image automatically open in a new window that, as I mentioned above, already knows the size of the image and adjusts the window accordingly. Then if the user keeps that window open and they click on another thumbnail the image will load in the same window but will once again adjust accordingly.

Have you tried any of the Javascript sites, like hotscripts.com, javascript.internet.com, scriptsource.com or dynamicdrive.com?

There are tons of javascript sites on the net. A Google or Yahoo search will bring up tons too.

try the freestanding photoalbum by phphq. You can get it at getrdonesites.com in the freestanding downloads section. Its a freestanding photoalbum, you simply edit the thumnail sizes you want to show once, and when the pic opens it opens to the original size. You can even set it up very easily to match your sites colors. Whats even nicer is you can use an uploader to directly add more photos.
