Hello guys,

have a friend who uses the paid version of parachat as a chat solution for their site. They have now changed over to nuke and want to create a module that integrates parachat into the site.

The creating the module is easy enough but my question would be how to pass the username to the parachat applet so that users don't have to enter a username?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a snippet of the code given by parachat support.

<param name="ctrl.LoginOnLoad" value="true">
<param name="ctrl.Nickname" value="<user name variable>">

What code would I need to place in the chat module index.php to pass the username properly to the <param name="ctrl.Nickname" value="<user name variable>">

Thanks in advance.

You would need to mix the the Nuke mainfile.php into it. Then you could just the cookiedecode function and echo thier cookie.
