I posted before but can't find that post.

What I am tring to do is add text to the navigation Block on my page, it is a module so I have to do this through block-modules.php

when I add this line as instructed

$content .= "<strong><big>&middot;</big></strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"index.php\">"._HOME."</a><br>\n";
$content .= "<strong><big>&middot;</big></strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"http://atlantalan.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=1\">"About Us"</a><br>\n";

I get this error
on the web page and the module does not show any text

Parse error: parse error in /home/virtual/site10/fst/var/www/html/blocks/block-Modules.php on line 58

I would basically like for the new link to point to:
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

and this way I can add more links.

Any help would help :-)

What needs to be done is to remove the "" around About Us or if you want to use the quotes you will have to write it like this
\"About Us\"

Hope that helps

yes, but you will have to make the about us a module only the modules are listed in alphabetical order and modules are very easy to make just use the Web tools, there is a module creator in there with help files.

Very nice Generator indeed but one little question maybe im stupid but
if i want to keep the blocks on both side of my page how does i do that?

Like for example this site i want both menu on left side and survey on the right side not just the menu on the left.

Wow this site is great keep up the good work and please dont stop answering people on theire questions ... hope you manage to keep on helping us newbies icon_biggrin.gif

open the module and look for this

$index = 1;

If you dont see it or your making the module add that to the file under this bit of code

if (!eregi("modules.php", $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'])) {
    die ("You can't access this file directly...");
}

require_once("mainfile.php");
$module_name = basename(dirname(__FILE__));
get_lang($module_name);

That will ensure the blocks show up for you.
