PHP-Nuke Blocks are located in the blocks folder.
Before using these open them up in your favourite text editor and alter $mainprefix,
to the mainprefix you used during installation. Check modules/Universal_Module/settings.php if your unsure

I've checked and checked, and I'll be darn if I can find a settings.php in that folder. nor can I get this to work, bout ready to give up on it. it installs, goes directly to the panel to set it up, but yet when you click on it from the modules panel, it says "you haven't install it"

Ahhh yes! I had the same trouble but got it working. Here's how:

It sounds odd to do this, but you are meant to create your own BLANK settings.php document for Universal Module.

Using your favoirte text editor, just make a blank document and save as settings.php then upload to your server in the correct place. I believe you also have to make it writable for the install so follow the rest of the directions in order and you should be fine.

Aw ha, thanks for the tip. Hopefully this will work, because nothing else has. But does the settings php go into the root, or somewhere else? No where in the instructions does it say.

I have mine in the Universal module folder along with comments.php and friend.php

You do need to make sure it is writable only during install. I followed the instructions step by step once I figured out the secret and do not recall any problems. It is working on my server. I do note that the settings.php document is still blank but is needed for the install process for some unknown reason (perhaps just to drive you nuts!)
