If the title isnt self explanitory enough im after a bridge file (like the ones coppermine comes with) to bridge a standalone coppermine with phpNuke.

Im well aware of the ported cpg and cpgNuke but the port is full of security holes and the latter is a non option as my site is heavily styled already.

Hope this isnt too difficult

I saw your post in the Coppermine Support forums. Frankly, if you're going to find an answer to your question, that's the most probable place. However, the developers of Coppermine have strongly stated that they no longer support PHP Nuke because of it's security problems. It looks like they're sticking to their word as every post pertaining to PHP Nuke gets moved to the CPGNuke forum.

I'll keep an eye out and if I see something anywhere else, I'll let you know.

I know about the security issues thats why i abandoned my ported version in favour of the standalone, which also has many more updates and is easier to modify to suit my needs.

Yet the bridge files are used very succesfully with phpBB etc while still retaining a high ammount of security thats why i believe strongly that a bridged version would appeal very well to people in situations like my own who want to use coppermine alongside a cms system yet are unable to switch to cpgNuke.

I did make many attempts of the bridge file but im not exactly a coding expert and it failed miserably.

Thank you for reading

Iain
