Hi--

I just installed the CZUser Info V5.0 UNIVERSAL on my Platinum 7.6 site last night & I've been searching for a way to include visitor & member ips in it. I thought this would have been covered, but a search of this site using 'ip address user info' brought up nothing to help me.

Really? That's so nice of you, thanks. I'd really like my visitors & users to realize that I'm capable of tracking everyone at my site... we've had problems with troublemakers before, but who hasn't, right? Anyway, I'd like it to show the ip address under the greeting & username:

Good evening EMcom
Your ip is xxx.xxx.xxx

If you really wanna go nuts & it doesn't take much effort, I'd also love you forever if you could include os, browser info, & anything else that would make their minds boggle, lol. Don't worry about it if it's a p.i.t.a.

I just tried to attach the file, but it said that .php isn't allowed, so I'm just gonna upload it as a text document.

You might want to delete the bottom two they return alot of info an it may mess up your blocks. If it does just delete these two (two instances):

$content .= " Your Host: ".gethostbyaddr($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'])."\n";
$content .= " Your Browser: ".get_browser()."\n";

Actually I have been looking for the exact same thing, as funny as it may seem. I've had it with looking for javascripts that supported some ancient browser but nowadays?
And I don't know enough about PHP yet to do this with the client-side browser detection and stuff(see, I even know what I'm looking for!!!)
So could I just maybe have a greedy little glance at some of that code too pretty please?
(I have also been considering inserting some of that into my siggy on one site I'm a member of and a little admin. Just to throw people off their rocker.

The code I added is 3 lines feel free to use them:

$content .= " Your IP: ".$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']."\n";
$content .= " Your Host: ".gethostbyaddr($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'])."\n";
$content .= " Your Browser: ".get_browser()."\n";

Good stuff! Just what I wanted! Now off I go to donate & look at your other scripts!
