Thanks for your help mate, I apppreciate it, but its all sorted, somehow admin.php had been corrupted and wasnt directing to the right place. The login button was pointing at nothing

It really is mashed in some way, somtimes it lets me into the admin and somtimes it doesnt, and when it does when i try to make a change it just comes up with access denied, even thought it let me login. Site is [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] but we cant do anything to it aitm until we fix the admin problem, its the basic deepblue theme.

U thought of poss changing your theme?? Just it might then solve the problem.

Lol funnily enough I tried that, the default is now deepblue and its still the same. We cant even get to thge admin now to change it anyway.

You might have to do something drastic then, wipe the whole deepblue theme from your main files and start again, it might be the only way to solve your problem.

Just I cant get my head around what the possible problem might be, Ive looked through all my files and help sites looking and asking for a fix code or just someone whos experianced this before, but nothing has come from it.

Sorry just might be the only way.

Deepblue isnt the theme causing us the problem, it was another theme we installed last week. It just defaulted to deepblue after I used that script, the one you posted before. I think nuke has corrupted somewhere, but i have nowhere near enough experience or knowledge to find out where, and I've no idea how to upgrade to a new version of phpnuke either. The theme was working fine up until last night, it had been on the site for around a week and was all fine, then last night the admin page just went tits up on me, I can still use the theme ok if i set it in my account, but whatever theme i use i cant access and if i can i cant use the admin page. I get this error when I try to logon the admin page.

An error has occured while the IP ******* tried to access /.php please visit [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] Error code[404]

I�m relatively new to the world of php-nuke, but I�m using osc2nuke on my site, but apart from the name a few things they are almost the same program just a few extra things here and there.

I'll ask around a few of my mates, if I cant find anything from them email Telli or one of the staff here and or I can get in touch with Staffie tomorrow morning or so and explain the problem and see what he might be able to do for you, as these are the experts.

As I say I�ll have a look round for a possible answer, but email one of the Codezwiz staff in the process just to see if they can help you out.

I have no idea who the staff are on here, i was given this link by a mate who said theres some knowledable people on here, ive set the theme to the one that caused the problems, well what possibly caused them, the theme works fine, like i say its just the admin page.

Yeah and as your unable to get into the admin section your unable to change the theme.

Telli is the site owner, but you might not get a reply from him as he�s always busy, Taut, Kelly_Hero and Staffie should get back to you within 24hours or so.

This is a really good site to solve problems, just the problem you have put my way is something I have never come across before so I have no clue.

Have you tried uploaded the admin.php file again into your main files? Just it might be a coding fault or something along those lines.
Or
Upload the whole theme once again and see if that makes a difference.

Apart from that are there any other parts of your site you'll need help on just as soon as you solve the admin problem??
