Is there a way to get Staff Module v0.4 to work with CWZ UserInfo Block showing the admins and mods in Staff Module v0.4?

If it can be done how can I do this.

Thanks

CZ User Info already shows each staff member that is added on with an image that states what their position is within your site. As soon as you assign a new staff member, there will be a graphic that will show beside thei rname when they are online.

Looks like CZM UserInfo Block uses the forums to pick admin and staff. Is this correct? If so is there a way for it to use the info from Staff module from [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

If it can what would I need to change.

icon_scratch.gif I don't think we are on the same page here.....

The staff module you mentioned is a stand alone module. What that basically does is open up a page and it lists the staff that you have for your site.

CZUserInfo doesn't need to integrate that because it has it's own staff capabilities. Once you add a new staff member, you simply change their status in the forums acp, to whatever position they have, and if it is within the 2 positions (admin, moderator) that already has images for it in the images folder of the userinfo, then you are all set. If you do create new positions, then you will need to create new images that will go right beside their names when they log into your site.

I hope that clears up the confusion...if not...just post back

That would help but I do not see how to add new positions. As of now I only see admin, mod and user as setting for users in the forums ACP. I would like to add new positions like staff, game admin and site admin in the forums ACP for users but do not know how or see how to do this.

Thanks

You can add new positions (ie. game admin, site admin) to your Forums through the Forum ACP>User Admin>Ranks. Any 'Special' rank that you create will be able to be assigned to a user through the Forum ACP. After you setup your 'Special' ranks, you should be able to assign them to particular users through the Forum ACP>User Admin>Management section, at the bottom of the page where it says: Rank Title.

Hope this helps. icon_smile.gif
