Keeping the filesize down
If you're working on a big movie, the library can get pretty cluttered with images or audio clips that you've imported during the design stages. Before you save your final version as swf, make sure that you clear out the library of any unused items. This can make a huge difference to the size of the swf, especially if you've made a number of similar movies, (buttons icons etc) and imported new images into the library for each one. Unused items in the library, even if they arn't actually in the movie, will increase the swf size. |
