Hi,
I am trying to install the SMS module and is just giving me this error message on top when i go to admin panel and SMS

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/sexyphp1/public_html/php/includes/sql_layer.php on line 342

i think the problem is the database..
cause is giving this error when i tryed to run the install

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: createdb() in /home/sexyphp1/public_html/php/modules/SMS/index.php on line 252


and on that line 252 is

   createdb();

unfortunately, the only thing I could find is this

it doesn't look like it's your db....from what that article says it's in the db file that came with the mod which is why it is not creating the tables in your db

If you need further help just post back

yes you right the database is there..

i just can't find a solution for that

when I dl'd that block, all I got from the dl is blobk-SMS.php file which the contents don't even deal with the db. where did you dl your block from?

the one I found I got from this article:

also....if you can edit

$row = mysql_fetch_array($res);


to this:

$row = mysql_fetch_array($res))


and see if that works

I edit that and come up with more erros..

on every page on top
Parse error: parse error in /home/sexyphp1/public_html/php/includes/sql



and on the SMS module
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: sql_fetch_array() in /home/sexyphp1/public_html/php/modules/SMS/index.php on line 43


Then i just put back the way it was.

lmao...it was a longshot but hadda try. ok, like I said in my previous post, I don't know where you got your SMS block from but the one I got is working fine.

that's the article that has the SMS site download. I suggest using that instead as it is just one file and no need for db.
