For the past 3 weeks I have experienced a major slowdown on my site. Some pages take up to 20 - 25 seconds to load, some up to a minute. IPowerweb says nothing is wrong with the site.

Just today I tried to post some news and the site crashed saying: Sorry there seems to be a problem with MySQL

Anyone have any ideas? I have tried to look at logs but they are hard to understand.

Have you added anything new? If you didn't add anything new to your site or edit any existing files, then you can be certain your web host is upgrading their current version of either PHP or Mysql....

If it's not you, then it has to be them. Only 2 possible causes.

P.S. I forgot the 3rd possible cause would be your ISP. Check to see if you are the only one experiencing these delays or if others are having them as well
