Hi

New to Codewiz and looking for an active community of people with some good Nuke troubleshooting skills!

I have got a bit of an issue, upgraded from 6.5 to 7.6 The majority of things seem to be working fine.

A few little things here and there.

The users who have posted the news items as in "posted by userx on ...."

The userx is clickable and should take me to their profile but all these links are simply [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]
This happened since the ugprade but not only for existing news items, it also happens for new ones.

Can't figure out where the problem is.

Go into your forums administration and click on "Configuration" up top you will need to change "mysite.com" to what ever your site is. Then just scroll down the list and make sure all informtion is correct, also may want to check your "Preferences" information in the ACP.

ACP?

Configuration in phpBB is correct, URL is correct and so is script path.

THe URL in the admin panel for Nuke itself under preferences is correct too.

Anything else that could be causing this?

Well I have to assume now that there is no fix for this, I started to backtrack to find out at which point this problem occurs, traced it all the way back to my orig 6.5 site which does the same thing. Never noticed it and apparentely noone else did either.

Not a major issue anyway.

THen I looked further and wen to some other nuke sites out there, bathtub even nukefixes has this issue!
The on the phpnuke.org site the "posted by" is simply no longer there.

Still no solve for my other issue though.
