Hi everyone. Im new to the website design world and I have created a nuke site using php nuke 6.7 (i think). My problem is that a couple of things are not working as they should.

1. On the enhanced user information block that i downloaded, the security code is not appearing. Also when i try to log in, in admin to my site the security code image does not appear. I'm sure there is a simple way to fix this, but Im a n00by so I dont know lmao.

2. I also downloaded enhanced downloads module block thingy. Some of the images do not appear. Did I not upload all the images or have I just uploaded them to the incorrect directory.

Anyway, my website is [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

Any help recieved will truely be appreciated.

Security code image handling in phpnuke 7.5+ is rather different. You must use modules/blocks that compatible with 7.5+. For a quick fix (for experienced users only), you need to scan all occurences of:
1. modules.php?op=gfx
2. admin.php?op=gfx

.. In all script files, and replace with:
1. index.php?op=gfx
2. index.php?op=gfx

.. respectively.

If you not quite sure to edit PHP code, feel free to post your block code here. I'll try to locate the problem.

Hello,
I'm having the same problem as well. I installed a membership block but the security code is not showing. This is what I found in the block's source code:

modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=gfx&random_num=$random_num

I'm not sure if I should change 'modules' to 'index' because what follows it isn't op=gfx, but name=Your_Account.

Any idea?

Thanks and cheers.

modules/Your_Account/index.php&op=gfx&random_num=$random_num

Shouldn't it be Your_account ?

^^ Aimed at hachemon

Gareth

Huh? Now I am confused...
"modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=gfx&random_num=$random_num"
the above code was found inside the membership block I downloaded

Can someone explain in detail what should I do? coz madman's post isn't clear enough for me.

Thanks and cheers.

Nevermind, try this:
Replace:
account.html&op=gfx&random_num=$random_num

With:

modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=gfx&random_num=$random_num

Gareth

Huh? account.html? There isn't any file with that name in my phpnuke folder...
btw, did someone just modify what I posted??? Why is all m_o_dules.php changed to account.html?

account.html&op=gfx&random_num=$random_num

Gareth can you please re-post the code again? There isn't any difference between the two codes you posted.

Thanks and cheers.
