Site no longer parsing RSS 2.0

My site [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] no longer capture or parse news. All blocks now show a problem on rss feed or URL. I run php-nuke 7.3 and Sentinel. Also the site went very slow. I suspect server side problems and I made the inquiries to the managers, they say no changes have been made. Any ideas as to where to check for pronlems?

I managed to get the error string and goes like this

Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to argentina.indymedia.org:80 in /home/delsur/public_html/mainfile.php on line 918

Any one knows how to solve the issue?
