I personally received an email today from what i tohught was paypal. The email address that the email was supposedly sent from resembled that of a legitimate paypal.com email address.
The email asked me to update my account information so that they could continue to give me good customer service. It also stated that if i did not update my information by a certain date that my account would be suspended.
The email gives you a link to what many people would genuinely think is a paypal secure form but it is infact a faked site which is designed to take all your personal and crd details from you.
Please be very cautious. If you are not asked to login to your account at any stage after receiving an email from paypal you must question its authenticity. One other point to note is that any email sent by paypal will always address you with your firstand last name and will never send an email to you which stated dear paypal member / account holder.
